Unilorin Journal of Architecture and Built Environment Research (UJABER)

The Unilorin Journal of Architecture and Built Environment Research publishes research manuscripts in the field of architecture. Built Environment research can improve our society’s lives and architecture. The aims and scope of the journal are to serve as a forum for researchers around the world to present and discuss common concerns in local, national, global, international and transnational issues in Built Environment studies and architecture; provide a journal that reports research on topics that are of international significance across architecture and Built Environment contexts; publish high quality manuscripts that are of international significance in terms of findings. UJABER seeks to help make available new evidence-based theories and understandings as to the extent and nature of architectural change in diverse settings. The Unilorin Journal of Architecture and Built Environment Research is concerned with architecture in its broadest sense, including formal and non-formal modes, from building material to city spatial properties. Its particular focus is on understanding how architecture and development are embedded in Built Environment and activities, and how individuals and collective practices are transformed through architecture. The journal is multidisciplinary and invites scholars from relevant disciplines including building construction, architectural education, energy issues in contemporary architecture, architecture and challenges of climate change, the future of green architecture in global context, sustainable housing, urban development, healthy living environment, technology advancement, new material development in architecture, digital architecture, creativity, innovation, architectural entrepreneurship, methodologies in architectural research and urban studies and all areas of architecture research. The Unilorin Journal of Architecture and Built Environment Research welcomes paper or books from all prospective authors and there will be no restrictions when it comes to Architecture or Built Environment settings. We invite authors to submit their research paper or books to the new university departmental Publishing at UJABER@unilorin.edu.

The editorial policy of our journals is based on the ethic statements of Committee on Publication Ethics, COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

This journal is determined to promote integrity in research publication. We have great respect and we generally follow the guidelines, given by COMMITTEE ON PUBLICATION ETHICS (COPE) for any publication disputes, authorship disputes, etc. For these kinds of disputes, we generally visit and follow the COPE website and author(s) are also requested to do so.
